it is with profound regret and gut wrenching sadness that I pass this news on. Our beloved friend and director THUG Sco has sadly passed away after a very brave battle with cancer.
Thug was an absolute cornerstone of our community and has been part of UKC for as long as many will remember. Nothing was ever too much trouble or effort for him to help you out.
We've all shared many laughs with him, and sometimes been on the end of a rant from him 😂 especially if you tried to spoil a Celtic result!
Our love and thoughts are with his wife and family, we will look at a way to honour his time, friendship, and presence with us in due course.

i met thug in drone lands when i left UKC the first time back in 2012 building caps out of his 100+ slot POS out of Rat poo. There wasn't anything he didn't know about the industry side of the game. great times. suggested he joined UKC after it went sideways down there for the corp he was in. as the post said the most helpfull person I've ever met in the game and would always go out of his way to help you. RIP pal.

He's someone I've known the longest in eve who still played and has always been the first one to offer to help with anything and just hang out. He was a legend then and still a legend now. From my first stint in corp thug was always so welcoming, put up with my stupid questions, we started the corp bpc store, brought structures in 8wa for corp… I am so sad for you all that knew him well and if anyone every has the chance please pass on my condolences to his family!! A true gentleman that will be forever missed! 🙁

I can just remember one of my first interactions with Thug being when I was looking to start setting up T2 production it 8WA, I initially moved everything to the Sotiyo near the gate, to rapidly find out this was the wrong Sotiyo which was quickly fixed. Then supported setting up the Raitaru in 8WA specifically for T2 production which then progressed into the industrial I am today. The fact knowing that if I needed a BPO / BPC, Thug / the corp had it was very helpful. Favourite moment been when it was announced we were leaving Delve asking me how much stuff i had to move and me replying “well i have 10 dreads on build and sitting on around 10m M3 of materials” which was similar amount to the whole corp which he had a good laugh at then asked what help I needed.

Been away with work for a couple of days and just seen the new about Thug. Horrible thing is cancer, always takes the good people. Even though the daft old bastard stayed a few miles from me we never got a chance to have that pint we talked about years ago. Hit me like a ton of bricks this morning even though he knew it was coming.

Like Acid said, a cornerstone in UKC and a greatly contributing member to UKC since the early days.
When i entered UKC, well over 10 years ago, Thug was already the industry director. I very much respect him for all he contributed to UKC and the community.
A good man lost, The Cyno is lit @THUG Sco you will live on in our memories, ty for all you did.
